This is a very large & interesting piece of Ludwigsburg porcelain, dating to around 1765.
The cover is adorned with everything you’d need for a good soup- including a cabbage, turnip, parsnip, onion, and a pea pod.
The body is painted with scattered flowers, and moulded with basketweave rims and elaborate rococo scroll handles and stands on four scroll feet.
It bears the ‘CC’ beneath crown mark, and dates to circa 1765.
