This bright & beautiful dish comes from Longton Hall, a rare Staffordshire porcelain factory, c.1755. It was painted by the delightfully named ‘Trembly Rose’ painter with a central flower group, while the leaf has puce veining and a brilliant yellow & green rim. Quite a bright & fresh piece~ The back has some fine moulding and is beautiful in its own way. Dates to circa 1755. It is a part of our 2014 ‘Recent Acquisitions’ Exhibition, opening 12th April.
